We value a strong sense of community and we thrive on making a positive impact in people's lives with dignity, compassion, and integrity.
At the heart of Apex Property Clearing and Recycling, a “Mom and Pop” business, is our founder, John Origer. He started this business as a one-man-show in 2011 with just a truck, a trailer, and the dream of being a successful business owner that could give back to his neighbors in the Willamette Valley. John is a lifelong resident of the Valley, and currently resides in Lebanon with his awesome wife Melissa, their three children, and 2 dogs. When John and Melissa aren’t spending time in nature, they are enjoying time well spent with their extended family.
John’s desire to assist our community through his business has shone through in his work and efforts. For the past 12 years, he has been a part of Furniture Share (https://furnitureshare.org) and currently serves as President on the Board of Directors. This wonderful , local, non-profit organization grants furnishings to families and individuals that have hit hard times. In February 2025, Furniture Share hosted the “Run Your Tutu Off” 5k at Crystal Lake Sports Fields in Corvallis. Despite the freezing temperatures, Apex was there providing power and cheering on all of the amazing participants. This fun event was held to support Furniture Share’s BEDS FOR KIDS program, and because of our great community, the event was a wonderful success!
